Job Overview:

As an Application Specialist, you deliver and implement educational services to customers. Utilizing your knowledge of educational methodologies, clinical experience, and understanding of simulation-based education, you tailor education to the specific needs of the customer and ensure they are competent and able to better serve their simulation requirements. You provide continuous support, guidance, and expertise, ensuring customers view Laerdal Medical’s solutions as integral to their success, ultimately resulting in improved patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the educational courses to Simulation & Education (Laerdal Medical’s) customers in [UAE] to support their achievement of patient care and education objectives.
• Support, mentor and follow up customers in the implementation and delivery of training programs.
• Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Laerdal Medical products and services.
• Drive business growth of Simulation & Education (Laerdal Medical’s) solutions by organizing and participating in events and campaigns and support presentations and demonstrations together with sales staff.
• Support and collaborate with the Education Specialist and Impact Manager of Laerdal Medical to support customers in utilizing Laerdal’s physical and digital solutions and subscriptions.
• Actively engage with Laerdal staff to obtain updates and lessons learned that would benefit customers.
• Effectively use operational tools to manage work orders, projects, and contracts.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field
• Experience in simulation methodologies
• Understanding of educational theory and adult learning principles
• Experience in working with and teaching on technical training equipment (e.g., simulators, audio-visual systems)
• Strong technical aptitude to understand complex product features and effectively communicate this information to diverse audiences
• Experience working in a multicultural environment, demonstrating adaptability, strong communication, and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English and Arabic language skills
