
We are looking for a meticulous and results-driven Cost Accountant to join our team in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in monitoring and managing the company’s cost structure, ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality service and product standards. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of cost control practices within the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze food and beverage costs to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, identifying variances and providing actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking expenses, waste, and inventory usage.
- Collaborate with purchasing and kitchen teams to optimize inventory levels and raw material usage.
- Conduct routine stock audits and reconcile inventory to identify discrepancies and prevent losses.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, budget controls, and industry best practices.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without affecting quality or operations.
- Support menu pricing strategies by analyzing cost structures and profit margins.
- Deliver financial insights to assist senior management in strategic decision-making.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in cost accounting or cost control, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cost management.
