Job Purpose / Objective

• Deliver safe, evidence-based therapeutic massage and approved complementary bodywork services that relieve musculoskeletal discomfort, promote functional recovery, and enhance patient wellbeing within HMG facilities, in accordance with Saudi healthcare regulations and approved scope of practice.
  

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Perform therapeutic massage sessions in assigned clinics as per approved duty rota.
• Apply appropriate manual therapy techniques based on patient assessment and care plan.
• Monitor patient response during treatment and modify approach as necessary.
• Educate patients on stretching, posture correction, relaxation, and self-care techniques.
• Ensure person-centered care that promotes dignity, compassion, and respect.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in patient medical records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations.
• Respect Islamic values, cultural norms, and medical ethics at all times.
• Consult and collaborate with physiotherapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient experience programs.
• Support organizational excellence and service efficiency targets.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.
  

Requirements

Education/ Professional Qualification

• Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Sports Therapy, or related field.
  

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
  

Professional Licensing / Certification / Training

• Certified training in therapeutic massage techniques.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• If providing physiotherapy services: valid SCFHS classification as a Physiotherapist is required.
