Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, decontaminate, and prepare medical instruments and equipment for sterilization.
  
• Operate sterilization equipment safely and in accordance with industry standards and healthcare regulations.
  
• Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation logs.
  
• Inspect instruments before and after sterilization for cleanliness, integrity, and proper function.
  
• Rigorously adhere to infection prevention and control protocols.
  
• Assist in training healthcare personnel on sterilization techniques and hygiene standards.
  
• Ensure workspaces, tools, and sterilization areas remain clean, organized, and in optimal working condition.
  
• Stay up to date with best practices, regulations, and advancements in sterilization and disinfection processes.
  
• Contribute to quality assurance and compliance activities as needed.
  

Requirements:

License:

• Valid SCFHS Medical Sterilization Technician License (mandatory)
