GEMS Al Barsha National School is seeking an outstanding and passionate Male PE Teacher to join our dedicated team in January 2026. Key responsibilities

• Teach and inspire students across various physical education activities and sports, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
• Develop and implement an engaging, ambitious, and inclusive PE curriculum aligned with the International British Curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects and whole-school initiatives.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during PE lessons and activities.
• Maintain and manage PE equipment and facilities effectively.

Skills Qualifications & Knowledge

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or a closely related field, plus a recognised teaching qualification/licence (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Experience

• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience, ideally within the National Curriculum for England.
• Experience teaching in an international or culturally diverse setting is advantageous.
