Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with tissue viability needs, including chronic wounds, pressure ulcers, and other skin integrity issues.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clinical staff on best practices in wound care and prevention.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on tissue viability and wound care techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments, care plans, and outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in tissue viability and wound care management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in the UAE.
• Certification or advanced training in Tissue Viability/Wound Care
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in wound care, tissue viability, or a related specialty.
• Strong knowledge of wound healing processes, best practices in tissue viability, and infection control measures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
