
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret medical imaging results to assess patient conditions and plan further care
- Identify necessary diagnostic images and provide instructions to Radiologic Technologists
- Administer small doses of radioactive materials to enhance diagnostic imaging quality
- Perform minimally invasive procedures, including angioplasty, embolization, and ablation, under image-guided techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technicians to deliver comprehensive treatment and pain management
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate responses to treatment, and adjust care plans as required
- Develop tailored radiation therapy plans for oncology patients
- Address and manage side effects related to radiation treatments for cancer patients
Requirements
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Completion of a specialized radiology degree with a 5-year residency program
- Active state license to practice as a Radiologist
- Demonstrated expertise in relevant diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Adherence to medical regulations and hospital protocols
- Preferred 3-5 years of experience in the radiology field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a professional demeanor
