Wellxa is an innovative telehealth and home care platform based in Dubai, dedicated to making healthcare more accessible, affordable, and patient-centered across the UAE. Our services range from virtual doctor consultations to home-based nursing, physiotherapy, IV drips, lab tests, mental health support, and chronic disease management.
We are now expanding our medical team and seeking a Family Medicine Doctor to provide high-quality, patient-focused care through telemedicine consultations and at-home services.
Role Description
- Provide online and in-person consultations to patients across all age groups.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Build, implement, and continuously review Wellxa’s Chronic Disease Management (CDM) protocols in line with international guidelines (e.g., WHO, ADA, AHA) and local DHA/NABIDH requirements.
- Offer preventive health guidance, wellness counseling, and lifestyle modification support.
- Collaborate with Wellxa’s multidisciplinary care team (nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, etc.).
- Maintain accurate medical records on Wellxa’s EMR platform.
- Ensure compliance with telehealth standards, HIPAA, and UAE ICT Health Law.
Qualifications
- Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai (mandatory).
- Board-certified Family Medicine physician.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in chronic disease management programs (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular health).
- Strong communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and digital healthcare solutions is a strong plus.
- Multilingual ability (English required; Arabic/Russian languages preferred).
