Key Responsibilities:Financial Management:• Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and future financial performance, and financial planning.• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s objectives.• Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.Operational Oversight & Team Leadership:• Policy development to create and review financial policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.• Lead, manage the accounts team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.• Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring professional development and growth.Compliance and Reporting:• Ensure the company complies with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.• Prepare and present financial reports to company management and board members.• Conduct Risk Assessment and identify financial risks. Develop strategies to mitigate them.• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.Audit Management:• Oversee and manage the company’s financial audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes.• Implement audit recommendations and ensure continuous improvement in financial practices.Strategic Planning:• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic financial plans.• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and business development.• Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company’s long-term stability.Stakeholder Communication• Internal communication – liaise with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.• External communication – manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors.
