Allied Medical Center is hiring an Insurance Claims Officer with UAE based healthcare experience to join our team.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications
-Certified Coder from AAPC
-Knowledge of Mediware preferable
-Must have at least a minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience in Dubai
-Flexible with a positive attitude
-Attention to detail
-Can work with minimum supervision
-Quality control experience
-Excel & reporting skills

Experience in
-Pre approval, Submission, Re-submission and Reconciliation processes
-Coding
-Checking invoice quality and claims pre submission process
-Identifying the relevant diagnosis (ICD) as well as procedures that require code assignment
-Submissions in DHA portal
-Auditing and file resubmissions
-Maintaining records and handle policy renewals and empanelment of new CPT or
services with insurance companies
-Coordination with Insurance companies for Recon purposes
-Supervising insurance coordinator and billing officer
-Collections

Main Responsibilities
-Responsible to train insurance, reception and billing staff on new insurance processes
-Assisting Insurance coordinator with CPT Coding queries
-Invoice checking at Billing level (CPT code, agreed tariff and approval validity)
-Documentation checking for submission and audit purpose
-ICD and coding application
-Submission and Resubmission of claim in portal (E claim) (Mediware)
-Daily basis check from Mediware for rejection for resubmission
-Daily audit
-Reconciliation with insurance companies
-Insurance audits
-Empanelment of new CPT
-Coordinating with nurses and doctors to ensure EMR is accurate and complete
