Position: Part-time Internal Medicine Consultant or Specialist

Location: Dubai – Town Centre, Jumeirah

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of internal medical conditions.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging, and other lab tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and allied health staff, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Provide preventative care and education to patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and changing conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with regulatory and institutional standards.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuing medical education activities.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department or facility.

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine (MD, DNB, or equivalent).
• Valid medical license to practice in Dubai – UAE
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in internal medicine.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital or multi-specialty clinic setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems in the UAE and DHA compliance.
• Interest or expertise in a subspecialty of internal medicine (e.g., endocrinology, infectious disease, rheumatology) is a plus.
