Manager – Credit Support (UAE Emirati Talent only)

The Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) provides a portfolio of corporate banking services, including investment & transaction banking as well as financial market solutions. It serves a broad range of clients both domestically and across the MENA region, including government entities, financial institutions, large to mid-size corporates, and commercial clients (SMEs), and maintains strategic relationships with leading banks globally

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Corporate Support team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • Analyse financial data spreads (Moody’s) from balance sheet, profit and loss statement and cash flow statement, conduct trend analysis, ratio analysis and provide opinion on the financial health along with financial projections to ensure decision makers have a clear view on the client’s financial health.
  • Generate monthly, ad hoc and special project reports, compile issues in management exception reports and respond to internal audit queries within agreed timeframes to ensure required data is available for decision-making
  • Monitor allocated portfolios, and work with key stakeholders to articulate and assess impact on portfolio to ensure continuity of portfolio quality and identify opportunities to improve processes
  • Follow-up with key stakeholders for queries, status, updates and credit early involvement to ensure compliance to stipulated turnaround times (TATs) and service level agreements and support in business development
  • Generate monthly, ad hoc and special project reports, compile issues in management exception reports and respond to internal audit queries within agreed timeframes to ensure required data is available for decision making.
  • Identify possible risks (for example: business risk, financial risk, structure risk) in order to assess and mitigate the extent of their impact and foresee possible
  • Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
  • Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
  • Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank’s standards

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience in Banking with at least 4 years of experience in a credit risk related position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Analytical skills
