Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and empathetic Psychiatrist to join our clinic. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with mental health disorders through medication management, psychotherapy, and evidence-based psychiatric interventions. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to providing high-quality mental healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with clinical guidelines.

Provide psychotherapy and counseling where appropriate.

Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition.

Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other medical professionals for integrated care.

Offer crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric support when required.

Educate patients and families on treatment options, risks, and lifestyle modifications.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with medical standards and regulations.

Stay updated with advancements in psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and treatment approaches.

Qualifications & Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS/MD/DO or equivalent) with specialization in Psychiatry.

Board-certified/eligible in Psychiatry.

Valid license to practice psychiatry in UAE.

Minimum 1 of clinical experience in psychiatry (inpatient, outpatient, or both).

Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, psychotherapy techniques, and psychiatric disorders.

Excellent diagnostic, decision-making, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered approach.

Work Conditions

Full-time/Part-time role.

Clinic-based with potential telepsychiatry support.
