Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC). The role involves providing professional social work services within a healthcare setting, including conducting psychosocial assessments, supporting patients and families, and collaborating with medical teams to ensure comprehensive care. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will also develop patient discharge plans, provide mental health and behavioral support, and assist in navigating healthcare systems to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Social Work and Medical Social Work methodologies
• Experience in Case Management, including the development of care and discharge plans
• Knowledge and expertise in Mental Health and Behavioral Health support
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and cultural competency skills
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or relevant accreditation
• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Master’s degree in Social Work
