Director/Global Connectivity & Projects

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

   1. Develop and implement project delivery strategies that align with the company’s objectives.

   2. Ensure integration of projects with business activities and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.

2. Project Management Oversight:

   1. Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of projects.

   2. Ensure project milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets.

3. Team Management:

   1. Lead, coach, and mentor project managers and related staff.

   2. Manage resource allocation and ensure availability of necessary resources.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:

   1. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

   2. Maintain continuous engagement with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

5. Risk Management:

   1. Identify project risks and dependencies and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

   2. Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.

6. Quality Assurance:

   1. Oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle to ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes.

   2. Implement improvement processes based on feedback and project outcomes.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

   1. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.

   2. Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Management, Telecommunications, or related field.

• Certified Project Manager (PMP) and Certified Internal Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
