Job Description
Echo Technician – Rolla – Sharjah
responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures of the heart to help physicians assess and diagnose cardiovascular conditions
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms (2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow studies)
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment safely and accurately
- Capture high-quality images and measurements of cardiac structures
- Analyze preliminary findings and prepare reports for cardiologists
- Assist cardiologists during stress echo or transesophageal echo (TEE) procedures when required
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Follow infection control, safety, and hospital/ clinical protocols
- Perform routine equipment calibration and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Echocardiography / Cardiac Technology / Allied Health Sciences
- Certification in Echocardiography
