English Teacher – Secondary

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and best practices in inquiry-based learning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including English Language Learners and students identified as gifted and talented.
• Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture that promotes collaboration, curiosity, and student well-being.
• Use technology and innovative approaches to enhance learning experiences.
• Assess student progress through varied, authentic methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan cohesive units and contribute to ongoing curriculum development.
• Participate actively in the school’s co-curricular and community programmes to support holistic learning.
  

Skills

Relevant valid qualifications as per ADEK (Attested & with Equivalency)

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (in English) or
• Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in the subject + a Certified teaching qualification (TLS) or Diploma in Teaching
• IELTS/ English medium of Instruction letter from University
• At least 2 years’ Teaching Experience
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and beyond the classroom.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
• A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning

Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree (Education)
