Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
• Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and future financial performance, and financial planning.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s objectives.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Operational Oversight & Team Leadership:
• Policy development to create and review financial policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Lead, manage the accounts team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring professional development and growth.
Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure the company complies with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and present financial reports to company management and board members.
• Conduct Risk Assessment and identify financial risks. Develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
Audit Management:
• Oversee and manage the company’s financial audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes.
• Implement audit recommendations and ensure continuous improvement in financial practices.
Strategic Planning:
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic financial plans.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and business development.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company’s long-term stability.
Stakeholder Communication
• Internal communication – liaise with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• External communication – manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related Feld (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional accredited certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance management, preferably in the property development or real estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
