The Role:

• Develop a transformational Forest School provision that is safe, happy, creative, and inspirational

• Plan and deliver outstanding Forest School sessions that promote resilience, perseverance, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills

• Encourage child-led learning and contribute to holistic development

• Ensure well-prepared sessions and maintain relevant Risk Assessments

• Inform staff of Risk Assessments and required actions

• Support maintenance of the Forest School area

• Maintain materials, tools, and equipment, and advise on necessary purchases

• Participate in annual performance appraisals and set targets with Line Manager

• Attend year group Collaborative planning meetings to integrate Forest Schools within the curriculum

Requirements:

• 3 years qualified relevant experience preferred

• Level 3 Forest School Leader or actively working towards this qualification (Desired)

• B.Ed. or subject related degree and PGCE/PGDE or equivalent
