KRE8+ is a R&D center under HCT, focused on smart sensor-integrated systems for industrial application. Our mission is to support industry with high-tech practical solutions through applied research, offering specialist expertise, equipment and collaborative project execution.

Position Summary

We seek a resourceful mechanical engineer to support our applied research projects with mechanical design. The role involves:

• Design of test benches
• Creation of 3D Models, drawings and Bill-of-Materials
• Creation of artistic renders of mechanical designs
• Reverse engineering
• Basic FEM analysis
• Basic CFD analysis
• Kinematic simulations
• Advise and support faculty on best practices in mechanical engineering

The ideal candidate is an expert in mechanical design / CAD and has experience with simulation (FEM & CFD), with proven track record of implementations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university (MSc preferred).
• Advanced expertise in common modelling and simulation software.
• Innovative mindset.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in developing smart systems and automation solutions.
• Strong proficiency CAD (SolidWorks) and simulation software. CAM experience is an advantage.
