Job Description
Plan, manage and execute media content and media relations. This includes conventional and digital media content creation (written – visual), coordinating and keeping contacts with the media, decide effective strategies of presenting a positive image of client through on time and effective communication.
Key Results Accountabilities
• Prepare comprehensive conventional and digital PR content creation plans as when required and then implementing it by choosing the right media tools to execute the messages of the client’s project.
• Prepare all press, news and media material for such agency (news, reports, and interviews) in English.
• Prepare, review and audit press releases, opening speeches and official statements of the CEO and departmental directors for such Agency in English.
• Supervise all content translation process with internal stakeholders and agencies to insure accurate and timely delivery.
• Assist in reviewing and auditing publications, ad materials and some correspondence originating from Marketing & Corporate Communication Department.
• Pitch new angles to publications and broadcasts to create and increase awareness on client’s projects.
• Build cordial relations with the media through following and extensive media relation strategy.
• Organize and attend media events to represent client and to build relations with various groups of stakeholders.
• Coordinate answers to questions, queries, complaints and criticisms level in the press and media outlets with regard to the Agency as well as activities & projects undertaken by the Agency and provide them in English.
• Take part and attend activities and events organized by the Agency, which require media attendance and participation (Expos, conferences, and forums).
• Supports the strong relationship with the media in order to continuously identify opportunities to enhance public relations strategies, plans and reputation management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor in Mass Communication and Journalism.
• 10 – 15 years’ experience in PR, Journalism and Content Creation.
• Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
• Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent tasks.
