Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
  • Place purchase orders based on stock levels, consumption trends, and upcoming operational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store teams for reordering.
  • Ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods; follow up with suppliers for backorders or delays.
  • Inspect delivered items for quality and quantity.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details.
  • Handles proper invoicing and posting in the system.
  • Entering order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into ERP software.
  • Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as and when needed.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and new products.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing & accounts experience
  • Relevant background in healthcare industry is REQUIRED
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Tally and purchasing/inventory software
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
