Senior Auditor (Arabic Speaker)
We are hiring a Senior Auditor responsible for planning, executing, and reviewing audit engagements while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. The role also involves providing value-added insights to improve client systems and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of firm policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Plan, execute, document, and review all phases of audit engagements
- Communicate effectively with clients to obtain information and ensure smooth coordination throughout engagements
- Participate in audit planning meetings and perform analytical procedures
- Assist Audit Managers in reviewing engagement files for quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Provide practical recommendations to enhance client systems and operational efficiency
- Train and mentor junior auditors and review their work
- Maintain accurate time booking and engagement records
- Attend professional training sessions and relevant industry meetings
Qualifications
- Academic: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional: ACCA or semi-qualified CA preferred
- Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional audit or accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of audit procedures, accounting standards, and compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and MS Office / IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple clients
