3.1 Performs the professional duties of a pediatrician.3.2 To perform his duties in the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic evaluating patients on a daily basis.3.3 Performs general or special examinations and other procedures covering the full scope of the field of pediatrics.Orders laboratory examinations and x-rays, determines diagnosis, prescribes nursing and dietary care necessary,orders or applies such preventive measures as required.3.4 Serves as pediatric consultant to Surgery and OB/Gy to in- and out-patients as assigned and/or required.3.5 Provides in-patient care to the newborn and attends difficult delivery or cesarean section deliveries.
