Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Oversees, reviews and guides staff on the development and effective functioning of the Satellite, Broadcasting and Wireless Roaming Services including Wi-Fi LTE, and enhancement of these products’ development, business activities and C&Ws product and services in order to continuously provide client organizations with their required service level and maintain their satisfaction.

2. Ensure that key performance indicators are consistent with C&Ws & Corporate policies, expenditure levels and business plans. Monitors and Controls key performance indicators in respect of market/business development, accounting, operations, and Marketing tools.

3. Directs and leads the planning, implementation and review of all Satellite, Broadcasting and Wireless Roaming Services and Projects, including Wi-Fi LTE and enhancement & business development plans, projects and activities; take appropriate measure to resolve/address the sales concerns/issues and criticalities.

4. Directs and reviews the implementation of all Satellite, Broadcasting and Wireless Roaming Services including Wi-Fi LTE Services and Projects and enhancement of Business activities in order to ensure maximum growth; devises strategies with respect to identifying market opportunities, new business prospects, business growth and increase in revenue.

5. Builds and manages permanent, proactive customer relationship and ensures customer satisfaction and stickiness as well as profitable account growth by coordinating all customer-related activities and acting as first-point of contact and develops a consultative relationship.

6. Understands customer’s business, decision criteria; anticipates customer’s needs and communicates them to Strategy, Product Management, Sales Support and Carrier Solutions Support & Quality.

7. Develops sales strategies for key partners in the designated region to achieve given sales targets.

8. Identifies & manages key decision makers & their key influencers in the purchasing process.

9. Seek out new business opportunity and identify new strategic partnership alliance.

10. Executes all necessary steps for completing RFI and RFPs by interfacing with product management, sales support and Carrier solutions support etc.

11. Proactively interacts with all related sections (especially Service Delivery Management) to ensure smooth and efficient processing and delivery of customer requirements. 

12. Provides thorough after-sales services to ensure complete and efficient processing of all customer inquiries/ complaints.

13. Defines & implements strategy to increase revenues and gain market share in respective region. 

14. Oversees reviews and guides staff on the development and effective functioning of the sales areas in order to continuously provide client organizations with their required service level and maintain their satisfaction. Ensure that key performance indicators are consistent with corporate policies, expenditure levels and business plans.

15. Ensure effective business liaison with major customers, alliance partners, various international telecom operators etc., to consistently enhance sales visibility and corporate image to its target marketplace.

16. Lead the coordination function with sales providers. Negotiates and Reviews with suppliers & customers contract terms & specifications to ensure C&WS e&’s best interest & presents recommendations to superior.

17. Carry out studies related to the improvement &/or enhancement of Sales profitability and operational efficiency. 

18. Prepares & monitors annual budget for Sales & takes corrective action in case of any variation.

19. Identifies training & development needs of subordinates in coordination with Training & Development Division for enhancement of skills & attitudes. Provides professional direction & guidance to subordinates and/or colleagues.

20. Keeps abreast with international developments through regular attendance of conferences, meetings and seminars as well as reference to relevant reading materials.

21. Prepare regular reports to provide required Management information.

22. Be responsible for all the pre-sales and sales activities aimed to grow the Satellite, Broadcasting and Wireless Roaming Services and Projects, including SMS & Voice Firewall and enhancement of Voice & SMS Business (traffic and revenues).

23. Build up and keep updated a solid Prospects List.

24. Hunt for new accounts and bring them on board after preparing a proper justification/business case.

25. Enhance e&’s coverage through regional and global partners.

26. Prepare yearly business plans for Satellite, Broadcasting and Wireless Roaming Services.

27. Conduct market intelligence and research.

28. Forecast along with remedy plans.

29. Develop partnership with the vendors, technology providers or business players to enhance the services and offering.

30. Look into Satellite, Broadcasting and Wireless Roaming Services process overall and the platform and ensure it is smooth and most efficient, using automated platform and intelligence.

31. Develop relative VAS as per the international benchmark.32. Develop and manage carrier Satellite/Broadcast/WiFi-LTE and Wireless Roaming products.

33. Develop business plan for new and enhanced products.

34. Ensures that product launch activities and related processes are properly implemented.

35. Assesses on regular basis profitability for existing product and services and the related tariffs.

36. Prepares annual Satellite/Broadcast/WiFi-LTE and Wireless Roaming product plan including product, customer & market analyses, product objectives, pricing, promotion etc.

37. Manages product life cycle and P/L for mobile products.38. Establishes Product, branding and corporate image strategy to increase the sales & visibility of the Mobile services across different markets.

39. Ensures in-depth market and industry analysis for each product has been conducted and delivered.

40. Manages, monitors and evaluates the products performance and quality.

41. Composes best product portfolio in terms of technical feasibility, meeting partner and carrier demands, competitive advantage, and profitability

42. Plan and develop new Satellite/Broadcast/WiFi-LTE and Wireless Roaming products/features to ensure product relevance and meet changing market needs.

43. Understand market needs; keep abreast of technology developments/trends and competitive situation.

44. Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue in co-ordination with sales.

45. Guide in developing product policies and ensure consistency of execution internally and externally.

46. Ensure compliance to Code of Practice and continuously engage TRA to review the regulatory parameters imposed on the product.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
