About the job:

Purpose: Undertake all accounting activities and ensure accounting transactions are recorded promptly and properly.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Ensure all accounting transactions are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Review statements to ensure accountability and accuracy.
• Ensure that all accounting records and supporting documents comply with management requirements and provide an
easily auditable record.
• Regularly review accounting books, ledgers, statements, and systems to keep up to date and to issue timely reports,
as required.
• Make best-practice recommendations to management and support the development and implementation of effective
accounting policies and procedures.
• Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.
• Follow best practices for accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions to ensure a healthy cash flow cycle.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for the company bank accounts and resolve long-outstanding items.
• Support internal and external audits, as required.
• Perform other duties as required by the Chief Accountant.
• Ensure that standards of quality and quantity of work are met and support the achievement of company strategic
goals and objectives.
