Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, practical labs, and clinical instruction in Pediatric Nursing, Child Health, and Neonatal Critical Care.
  • Develop course content, teaching materials, and simulation-based learning experiences.
  • Supervise nursing students in clinical placements, particularly in pediatric wards and NICUs.
  • Apply modern instructional methods including e-learning, case-based learning, and AI-supported simulation tools.
  • Participate in student assessments, grading, and feedback processes.
  • Engage in research projects in pediatric/child health/neonatal nursing and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.
  • Guide undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students in research methodology and evidence-based practice.
  • Seek interdisciplinary research collaborations and grants.
  • Serve as a clinical expert and mentor in pediatric and neonatal intensive care nursing.
  • Ensure safe, ethical, and high-quality nursing care during clinical training.
  • Promote the use of best practices and evidence-based guidelines in pediatric nursing.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation, and academic audits.
  • Serve on departmental or university committees.
  • Support student advising, mentorship, and academic guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (essential) with a specialization in Pediatric / Child Health / Neonatal Nursing.
  • PhD in Nursing or a closely related field is preferred (mandatory for Associate Professor level).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching and clinical experience in pediatric or neonatal nursing

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Advanced clinical competence in pediatric/neonatal critical care settings (NICU, PICU).
  • Strong knowledge of nursing education standards, accreditation processes, and competency-based learning.
  • Familiarity with AI applications, simulation labs, and digital learning tools in nursing education.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in curriculum development and academic assessment.
