Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to join our team onsite in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with proven experience in Tally ERP for data entry and day-to-day accounting functions. The role requires hands-on billing expertise, mid-level system configuration knowledge, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in training implementation and development is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily data entry in Tally Prime for all accounting transactions
Manage accounts receivable/payable, billing, and invoicing processes
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing and reporting
Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash, and expense tracking
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for audits and reporting
Work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
Assist with VAT filing, payroll accounting, and inventory records
Coordinate with internal departments for finance-related queries

Requirements:

5 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Tally ERP
Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT
Experience in billing, development
Ability to train others and support system/process implementations
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in MS Excel and other basic accounting tools
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Prior experience in UAE preferred
